Felix's Route Released!

The third installment of The Dream Alchemist is out now!

In this route, Nova joins the small rebellion that Felix had assembled on the Ssovhian side of the border to destabilise the war effort from within. They’re a motley bunch – a thief, a chemist, and a socialite - and Nova fits right in.

Though she still has to carve out her own role in the group, tricky considering they already have an alchemist – one that has skills beyond her training, AND deal with a leader who tries to do everything himself.

So when Felix refuses help, and Nova realises they can’t do it alone any more, will reaching out to Alasdair for aid benefit or hinder their work to prevent war?

This route is 2 ½ hours of playtime, sixty-six choices to make, three good ends, two bad ends and one neutral end, but better than all that, FOUR spicy scenes. Enjoy!

Felix's route really confused me. When I  did Atlas' route there was a Felix and Atlas affection bar but when I tried to do Felix's route once I got to the part where I was deciding if I was going to go with Theo or Felix it told me Atlas' route wasn't available and asked if I wanted to skip to Felix's route. If I said no it took me back to the main menu but if I said yes I jumped ahead to wanting to go with Felix somewhere and I don't understand what part I missed.

Yes, you're right, it is confusing. When I wrote the demo I never planned to have atlas' route and that's why it's not all that clear which is Felix's route and which is atlas' early on in the game.

To get to Felix's solo route you have to pick alasdair not Theo in the prison , and then build affection points by picking positive choices with Felix to get onto his route.

Thanks for the reply! I managed to play through it now and can't wait for Alasdair's route!

I think I know one thing that will be solved in his route.

Spoiler

Clearly we'll get more information on what the queen was up to. I just think, unlike Nova, I might understand why a loving (super morally grey) mother who wants the best for her daughter might arrange for her to have to flee the country with the fellow dream alchemist crown prince of the neighboring country. Like. Basically match-making lol
